From YouTube to Instagram to TikTok, social media is becoming an increasingly important part of high schoolers’ lives. Social media is often deemed a distraction or a waste of time for teens. While this may be true for some teens, there are ways to use social media in a more meaningful way to increase impact and to make positive connections.
Today, our guest, Andy Jiang, is a TikTok star and influencer who has made over a thousand videos on the app, with a focus on telling stories from history, current events, and other interesting topics. He has garnered 3.4 million TikTok followers. He started this storytelling journey on social media in high school during the pandemic and now he is a college student. In this podcast episode, he shares with us his experience about using social media to make an impact.
