In high school, some students launch their own initiative to address an issue they care about. If you’re thinking about starting your own project or organization for a certain cause, but are not sure about how to do it, this episode sheds some light on what is needed for a successful initiative.
We are thrilled to have a guest, Dhruv Pai, on our podcast! He’s a high school senior and the co-founder of Teens Helping Seniors, an organization dedicated to supporting senior citizens through COVID 19 and beyond. So far, they have established 32 chapters across 16 states and provinces in the US and Canada. Their efforts have been recognized by a number of national media platforms, including The Washington Post, AP News, CNN, NPR, and more.
In this episode, Dhruv shares with us his experience about starting this initiative and offering insights for other high school students who are interested in starting their own program or organization for a certain cause.
